چکیده
<p>We study the properties of electronic circuits after linearization around a fixed operating point in context closed-loop stability analysis. When distributed elements, like transmission lines, are present circuit it is known that unstable can be created without poles complex right half-plane. This undermines existing analysis techniques determine by looking for half-plane poles. We observed problematic rely on unrealistic elements with an infinite bandwidth. In this paper, we therefore define class realistic linearized components and show composed only Furthermore, amount finite, even when present. second part provide examples component models includes many models, including ones passive devices, active devices lines.</p>

Fractional Hold Circuits versus Positive Realness of Discrete Transfer Functions
The appropriate use of fractional-order holds (β-FROH) of correcting gains β ∈ [−1,1] as an alternative to the classical zero-and first-order holds (ZOHs, FOHs) is discussed related to the positive realness of the associate discrete transfer functions obtained from a given continuous transfer function. It is proved that the minimum direct input/output gain (i.e., the quotient of the leading coe...
متن کاملEstimating the Active Power Transfer Margin for Transient Voltage Stability
On-line security analysis is one of the important functions for modern power system control centers. It is well known that voltage magnitudes alone are poor indicators of voltage stability or security. Voltages can be near normal with generators, synchronous condensers, and SVCs near current limiting levels resulting in a possible voltage collapse. For on-line application, a pattern matching or...
متن کاملA resolution comparison of horizontal and vertical magnetic transfer functions
The main goal of the present study is to identify characteristics of the inter-station horizontal magnetic responses and the vertical magnetic data, as two types of magnetotelluric transfer functions, in the modeling procedure. Through consideration of model responses and two-dimensional inversion of synthetic data, sensitivity of the data components in detecting different geophysical structure...
متن کاملHigher Frequency Modeling of Synchronous Exciter Machines by Equivalent Circuits and Transfer Functions
In this article the influence of higher frequency effects in addition to a special damper design on the electrical behavior of a synchronous generator main exciter machine is investigated. On the one hand these machines are often highly stressed by harmonics from the bridge rectifier thus facing additional eddy current losses. On the other hand the switching may cause the excitation of dangerou...
